The forty
goats at La Saffrie are dab hands at giving a superb welcome to their visitors.
They will charm old and young alike.
The way the visit is organised :
-standing on a gangway
above the pens, Mr. Martin tells you all about the life and habits of his charges.
|
-inside the goat-house, a goat is stroked, fed and milked. |
| |
-a pleasant, well appointed and heated in the winter reunion room is available for pick-nicks and snacks. Visitors
can taste the various goat cheeses produced here. |
-a
documentary film with French or English commentary shows the different steps in
the making of the farmhouse SAFFRIN.
-it is
possible to combine the visit with a walk on signposted paths with a photo tour and observation of the environment.
